Server is online

Good news! As of this morning, a central server with the name “wp0226” is available for us to perform calculations and process all sorts of data!

I’ve set up the first (initial) version of the YOUth Quality Control pipeline and this worked perfectly. It took almost no time for the server to work through thousands of sets from the YOUth study. As this is a central server, researchers outside YOUth can also benefit from (and contribute to) our development work.

The server will be connected to YODA, another storage server, and the web. (s)FTP service still needs to be installed, as well as an adequate account administration protocol.

For now, however, the server is up and running! The arrival of a second (linux) server is expected in the near future.
